Rules of Conduct

1. Introduction

These Rules of Conduct ("Rules") govern your behavior when using One Map - Never Ending Battle Royale (the "Game") and any related services provided by Appcano LLC ("Appcano," "we," "us," or "our").

These Rules apply to all users across all supported platforms, including but not limited to Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, Epic Games, Apple, and Google. These Rules apply to both in-game conduct and certain out-of-game conduct that may impact the Game, its systems, or its community.

These Rules are designed to ensure a fair, safe, and competitive environment for all players. Because One Map is a persistent, cross-platform multiplayer experience where players interact in real time and compete globally through rankings and leaderboards, maintaining integrity, fairness, and respectful behavior is essential.

These Rules supplement, and are incorporated into, our Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (EULA). Matters not expressly addressed in these Rules may still be subject to enforcement under those agreements or applicable law.

By accessing or using the Game, you agree to comply with these Rules. Failure to comply may result in enforcement actions, including restrictions, suspensions, removal of in-game data, or permanent bans from the Game.

2. Changes to These Rules

Appcano LLC reserves the right to update, modify, or revise these Rules at any time, at our sole discretion, to reflect changes in the Game, technology, legal requirements, or business practices.

2.1 Updates and Modifications

We may update these Rules for reasons including, but not limited to:

• Changes to gameplay systems, features, or mechanics;
• Introduction of new content, services, or monetization features;
• Updates to cross-platform integrations or third-party services;
• Security, anti-cheat, or fairness improvements;
• Legal, regulatory, or compliance requirements.

2.2 Notice of Changes

We may provide notice of changes by:

• Updating the effective date of these Rules;
• Posting the updated Rules within the Game or on our website;
• Providing in-game notifications or other reasonable forms of notice.

For significant changes that may materially affect your rights or obligations, we may provide additional notice where required by applicable law.

2.3 Acceptance of Changes

Your continued use of the Game after the updated Rules become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Rules.

If you do not agree to the updated Rules, you must stop using the Game and Services.

2.4 Responsibility to Stay Informed

You are responsible for reviewing these Rules and staying informed of any updates. Appcano LLC is not responsible for any disadvantages or damages resulting from your failure to review updated Rules.

3. Our Responsibilities

Appcano LLC will make reasonable efforts to maintain a fair, stable, and enjoyable gameplay environment for all users.

3.1 Fair Gameplay Environment

We strive to detect, prevent, and address misconduct in order to maintain a fair and competitive experience, including:

• Monitoring for cheating, exploits, and unfair advantages;
• Taking enforcement actions against users who violate these Rules;
• Maintaining the integrity of rankings, leaderboards, and progression systems.

3.2 System Operation and Maintenance

We will use reasonable efforts to:

• Operate and maintain game servers, matchmaking systems, and persistent world environments;
• Address bugs, glitches, and technical issues;
• Improve performance, stability, and gameplay systems over time.

3.3 User Support and Feedback

We may provide support channels where users can:

• Report bugs, exploits, or misconduct;
• Submit feedback or suggestions;
• Request assistance related to the Game.

We will review submissions as reasonably practicable, but response times may vary.

3.4 No Intervention in User Disputes

Appcano LLC is not obligated to intervene in disputes between users. Any conflicts between players are the responsibility of the users involved, unless such conduct violates these Rules.

3.5 Service Adjustments

We may restrict, suspend, modify, or discontinue parts of the Game or Services if we determine that certain conditions negatively impact gameplay, fairness, or system stability.

3.6 Enforcement Authority

If a user engages in conduct that violates these Rules or negatively affects the Game or other users, we may take enforcement actions as described in Section 13 (Enforcement & Penalties).

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for understanding and complying with these Rules, as well as our Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (EULA), when using the Game.

4.1 Compliance with Rules

You agree to:

• Follow these Rules and all applicable policies;
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations;
• Respect other users and maintain fair gameplay;
• Use the Game only as intended.

4.2 Responsible Use of the Game

You agree not to:

• Engage in behavior that disrupts or negatively impacts the Game or other users;
• Exploit systems, features, or mechanics for unintended advantages;
• Misuse gameplay systems such as matchmaking, rankings, or progression;
• Use the Game for purposes other than personal entertainment without our prior consent.

4.3 Game Data and Virtual Content

All in-game data, including but not limited to characters, items, virtual currency, rankings, and progression, are owned by Appcano LLC.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use such data in accordance with our Terms of Service and EULA.

4.4 Reporting Issues and Misconduct

If you discover bugs, glitches, vulnerabilities, or misconduct, you agree to:

• Report such issues through appropriate channels;
• Not exploit, abuse, or share such issues with other users;
• Not use such issues to gain unfair advantages.

Failure to report or intentional exploitation may result in enforcement actions.

4.5 No Unauthorized Use of Information

You may not copy, distribute, modify, or otherwise use any content, data, or information obtained through the Game without prior authorization from Appcano LLC.

4.6 No Misleading or False Information

You may not distribute false or misleading information related to the Game that may confuse or harm other users or the Game's ecosystem.

4.7 Responsibility for Account Activity

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including actions taken through your Platform Account.

5. Prohibited Conduct

To ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all users, you must not engage in any of the following prohibited conduct while using the Game.

5.1 Use of Unauthorized Programs or Devices

You may not use, develop, advertise, distribute, or otherwise make available any unauthorized software, tools, or hardware that provides an unfair advantage or interferes with the Game, including but not limited to:

• Cheats, hacks, bots, scripts, or automation tools;
• Memory manipulation tools or hardware, such as DMA devices;
• Third-party software that modifies or interacts with the Game in unintended ways.

5.2 Modification of Game Client or Data

You may not modify, reverse engineer, or tamper with the Game client, servers, or data, including:

• Editing configuration files for unfair advantage;
• Interfering with network traffic or data packets;
• Attempting to access or alter server-side systems.

5.3 Exploitation of Bugs and Glitches

You may not exploit any bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics to gain an advantage. This includes:

• Repeatedly using known issues to gain rewards or progression;
• Sharing or distributing exploit methods;
• Failing to report discovered vulnerabilities.

Any benefits gained through exploitation may be removed.

5.4 Manipulation of Gameplay or Systems

You may not manipulate gameplay systems for unfair advantage, including:

• Match fixing or coordinating outcomes;
• Boosting, including artificially increasing rankings or progression;
• Using multiple accounts to gain advantages;
• Any behavior intended to bypass normal gameplay systems.

5.5 Account Misuse

You may not:

• Access another user's account without authorization;
• Share, sell, or transfer accounts;
• Use accounts that are not your own to gain an advantage.

5.6 Unauthorized Commercial Activity

You may not use the Game for unauthorized commercial purposes, including:

• Selling accounts, items, or in-game services;
• Advertising or promoting third-party products or services;
• Attempting to engage in real-world transactions involving the Game.

5.7 Interference with Game Services

You may not engage in any conduct that interferes with or disrupts the Game, including:

• Attempting to overload or disrupt servers;
• Interfering with matchmaking or game sessions;
• Engaging in behavior that degrades the experience for other users.

6. Gameplay Integrity Rules

To maintain a fair and competitive environment, you must follow all gameplay integrity rules while participating in matches and interacting within the Game.

6.1 Fair Play

You must play the Game as intended and may not engage in any behavior that provides an unfair advantage or undermines competitive integrity.

6.2 AFK (Away From Game) and Idling

You may not remain inactive, idle, or otherwise disengaged during gameplay in a way that negatively affects other players or the outcome of a match. Repeated or intentional AFK behavior may result in penalties.

6.3 Gameplay Disruption

You may not intentionally disrupt gameplay or interfere with other players' experience, including:

• Griefing or intentionally sabotaging gameplay;
• Obstructing teammates or other players;
• Repeatedly engaging in behavior that negatively impacts matches.

6.4 Teaming and Collusion

You may not cooperate, collude, or form alliances with other players in a manner that is not supported by the Game's intended design or game mode. This includes:

• Coordinating with opponents to gain an unfair advantage;
• Sharing information or resources in ways that bypass normal gameplay rules.

6.5 Stalking or Targeting Players

You may not repeatedly target, follow, or harass specific players across matches in a way that disrupts normal gameplay.

6.6 Abnormal Gameplay Behavior

You may not engage in behavior that is impossible or highly unlikely under normal gameplay conditions. If abnormal patterns are detected, we may investigate and take enforcement action to maintain fairness.

6.7 Persistent World Conduct

Because the Game operates as a persistent, shared environment, you may not engage in behavior that negatively impacts the broader player ecosystem, including actions that disrupt ongoing gameplay across servers or player populations.

7. Social & Communication Rules

To maintain a respectful and safe community, you must follow all rules related to communication and interaction with other users.

7.1 Harassment and Abuse

You may not engage in harassment, abuse, or harmful behavior toward other users, including:

• Insults, threats, or intimidation;
• Targeted harassment or repeated unwanted interactions;
• Behavior intended to cause distress or discomfort.

7.2 Inappropriate Language

You may not use language or content that is offensive or inappropriate, including:

• Profanity, slurs, or offensive expressions;
• Sexually explicit or suggestive content;
• Content that is discriminatory based on race, religion, gender, nationality, or other protected characteristics.

7.3 Hate Speech and Discrimination

Any form of hate speech, discrimination, or content that promotes violence or hostility toward individuals or groups is strictly prohibited.

7.4 Spam and Disruptive Communication

You may not engage in spam or disruptive communication, including:

• Repeated or excessive messaging;
• Posting the same or similar content repeatedly;
• Interfering with normal communication channels.

7.5 Misuse of Communication Systems

You may not use in-game communication systems for purposes unrelated to normal gameplay, including:

• Advertising or promoting external services;
• Soliciting other users for commercial or non-game-related purposes;
• Sharing misleading or false information.

7.6 Respect for Privacy

You may not share or disclose personal or sensitive information about yourself or others, including:

• Real names, addresses, contact information;
• Account details or identifying information;
• Any information that could be used to identify or harm another user.

7.7 Conduct Toward Support Staff

You must treat Appcano LLC staff and support personnel with respect. Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior toward support staff may result in enforcement actions.

8. Usernames & Identity

Usernames and identity within the Game are an important part of the player experience and must comply with these Rules.

8.1 Platform-Based Usernames

Usernames in the Game are generally derived from your Platform Account, such as Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, Epic Games, Apple, or Google. You are responsible for ensuring that your username complies with these Rules and applicable Platform policies.

8.2 Inappropriate Usernames

You may not use usernames that are inappropriate or offensive, including but not limited to:

• Sexually explicit or obscene content;
• Profanity or offensive language;
• Hate speech or discriminatory terms;
• Content that targets individuals or groups in a harmful way.

8.3 Impersonation and Misleading Identity

You may not use a username or identity that:

• Impersonates Appcano LLC, its employees, partners, or representatives;
• Impersonates another player or third party;
• Misleads others into believing you are affiliated with an entity you are not associated with.

8.4 Intellectual Property Violations

You may not use usernames that infringe on the trademarks, copyrights, or other rights of third parties.

8.5 Enforcement and Name Changes

If your username violates these Rules, Appcano LLC may, at its sole discretion:

• Require you to change your username;
• Assign a temporary or system-generated username;
• Restrict access to certain features until the issue is resolved;
• Apply enforcement actions as described in these Rules.

Usernames that attempt to bypass restrictions through altered spelling or symbols may still be considered violations.

8.6 Visibility of Identity

You acknowledge that your username, identity, and associated gameplay information may be visible to other users through gameplay systems, including leaderboards, matchmaking, and in-game interfaces.

9. Virtual Economy Rules

The Game may include virtual currency, rewards, and progression systems. To maintain fairness and integrity, you must comply with the following rules.

9.1 Coins and Virtual Currency

Virtual currency ("Coins") and other in-game value systems are provided for use within the Game only. You may not:

• Obtain Coins through unauthorized or fraudulent means;
• Use exploits, bugs, or unintended mechanics to generate or duplicate Coins;
• Transfer, sell, or trade Coins outside of authorized systems.

Coins have no real-world value and are subject to the terms set forth in the Terms of Service and EULA.

9.2 Purchases and Entitlements

All purchases must be made through authorized Platform systems. You may not:

• Circumvent payment systems or attempt to obtain items without proper payment;
• Reverse, manipulate, or abuse purchase systems;
• Use unauthorized methods to gain access to paid content.

9.3 Rewards and Progression

You may not exploit gameplay systems to gain rewards, progression, or advantages in unintended ways, including:

• Farming rewards through artificial or repetitive behavior;
• Using multiple accounts to gain unfair benefits;
• Exploiting mechanics to accelerate progression beyond intended gameplay.

Any rewards or progression gained through violations may be removed.

9.4 Referral and Promotion Systems

The Game may include referral or promotional systems that allow you to earn rewards. You may not:

• Abuse referral systems, such as creating fake accounts or self-referrals;
• Manipulate or exploit promotional systems to gain unfair rewards;
• Engage in behavior intended to artificially inflate referral activity.

We reserve the right to revoke rewards and take enforcement action for any abuse.

9.5 Real-World Transactions

You may not engage in real-world transactions involving the Game, including:

• Buying or selling accounts, items, or in-game currency;
• Offering services or benefits in exchange for real-world payment;
• Attempting to conduct trades outside authorized systems.

9.6 Enforcement of Economy Violations

If you violate these rules, Appcano LLC may, at its sole discretion:

• Remove Coins, items, or rewards;
• Reset progression or account data;
• Restrict access to features;
• Apply additional penalties as described in these Rules.

10. Platform & Cross-Platform Rules

The Game is available across multiple Platforms and supports cross-platform gameplay. Your use of the Game is subject to both these Rules and the policies of the Platform through which you access the Game.

10.1 Platform Compliance

You must comply with all applicable Platform rules, terms, and policies, including those of Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, Epic Games, Apple, and Google.

Violations of Platform rules may result in enforcement actions by the Platform provider in addition to any actions taken by Appcano LLC.

10.2 Cross-Platform Conduct

Because the Game supports cross-platform interactions, your behavior may affect users on different Platforms. You must:

• Follow these Rules regardless of the Platform you are using;
• Respect other users across all Platforms;
• Avoid conduct that disrupts cross-platform gameplay or fairness.

10.3 Platform Features and Systems

Certain features of the Game may rely on Platform-specific systems, including:

• Account authentication and identity;
• Friends lists and social features;
• Purchases and billing systems;
• Communication tools.

You acknowledge that these features are controlled by the Platform provider and may be subject to their own rules and limitations.

10.4 Platform Enforcement

Appcano LLC may coordinate with Platform providers to enforce these Rules. Enforcement actions may include:

• Restrictions within the Game;
• Platform-level restrictions or suspensions;
• Loss of access to certain features or services.

10.5 Separate Platform Environments

In certain cases, Platform providers may require or enable separate gameplay environments, such as non-cross-platform matchmaking. These environments remain subject to these Rules.

10.6 No Circumvention of Platform Systems

You may not attempt to bypass or circumvent Platform systems, restrictions, or enforcement mechanisms, including:

• Creating alternate accounts to avoid restrictions;
• Using unauthorized methods to access Platform features;
• Exploiting differences between Platforms to gain unfair advantages.

11. Advertising & Commercial Activity

The Game is provided for personal entertainment. You may not use the Game or its systems for unauthorized commercial or promotional purposes.

11.1 Unauthorized Advertising

You may not advertise, promote, or market any third-party products, services, or content within the Game without prior written permission from Appcano LLC, including:

• Posting promotional messages in chat or other communication systems;
• Directing users to external websites, services, or platforms;
• Using usernames or in-game behavior to promote products or services.

11.2 Commercial Exploitation

You may not use the Game for commercial gain without authorization, including:

• Selling or offering in-game services, such as boosting, coaching, or matchmaking manipulation;
• Using the Game to generate revenue through unauthorized means;
• Operating businesses or services that rely on the Game without approval.

11.3 Sale of Accounts and Items

You may not buy, sell, trade, or transfer accounts, virtual currency, items, or progression for real-world value or outside authorized systems.

11.4 Unauthorized Promotions and Giveaways

You may not conduct giveaways, contests, or promotional events involving the Game without prior written approval from Appcano LLC.

11.5 Misrepresentation

You may not represent yourself as affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Appcano LLC without authorization.

11.6 Enforcement of Commercial Violations

If you violate these rules, Appcano LLC may take enforcement actions, including:

• Removal of content or access to features;
• Revocation of Coins, items, or rewards;
• Suspension or termination of your account;
• Additional penalties as described in these Rules.

12. Additional Misconduct

The examples of prohibited conduct described in these Rules are not exhaustive. You may not engage in any behavior that, in Appcano LLC's sole discretion, is harmful to the Game, its systems, or its users, even if such behavior is not explicitly listed in these Rules.

12.1 Harmful or Abusive Behavior

Any conduct that negatively impacts the Game or other users may be considered a violation, including behavior that:

• Undermines fair gameplay or competitive integrity;
• Disrupts the normal operation of the Game;
• Harms the experience of other users;
• Exploits unintended aspects of the Game or its systems.

12.2 Circumvention of Rules

You may not attempt to circumvent, bypass, or avoid these Rules or any enforcement actions, including by:

• Using alternate accounts after restrictions or bans;
• Exploiting loopholes or technical limitations;
• Assisting others in violating or bypassing these Rules.

12.3 Aiding or Encouraging Violations

You may not assist, encourage, promote, or enable other users to engage in conduct that violates these Rules.

12.4 Unspecified Misconduct

Any behavior that is inconsistent with the spirit of fair play, respect, and integrity may be subject to enforcement, even if not specifically described in these Rules.

12.5 Discretionary Enforcement

Appcano LLC reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether any conduct violates these Rules and to take appropriate enforcement action.

13. Enforcement & Penalties

Appcano LLC may take enforcement action against any user who violates these Rules, our Terms of Service, or our End User License Agreement (EULA).

13.1 Types of Enforcement Actions

Depending on the nature and severity of the violation, enforcement actions may include, but are not limited to:

• Warnings or notices;
• Temporary restrictions or suspensions;
• Permanent account bans;
• Removal of Coins, items, or rewards;
• Reset or modification of progression, rankings, or statistics;
• Removal from leaderboards or competitive systems;
• Restrictions on matchmaking, communication, or other features.

13.2 Severity and Escalation

Enforcement actions may vary based on factors including:

• The severity of the violation;
• Whether the violation was intentional or repeated;
• The impact on other users or the Game;
• Prior history of violations.

Repeated or serious violations may result in more severe penalties, including permanent bans.

13.3 Immediate Action

Appcano LLC reserves the right to take enforcement action immediately and without prior notice if we determine that a violation has occurred or if necessary to protect the Game or its users.

13.4 No Obligation to Provide Warning

We are not obligated to provide warnings before taking enforcement action. Certain violations may result in immediate penalties without prior notice.

13.5 Removal of Illegitimate Gains

Any benefits obtained through violations, including Coins, items, progression, rankings, or other advantages, may be removed, adjusted, or reset at our discretion.

13.6 Platform Enforcement

In addition to actions taken by Appcano LLC, Platform providers, such as Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, Epic Games, Apple, or Google, may take independent enforcement actions in accordance with their own policies.

13.7 Finality of Decisions

Except where otherwise required by applicable law, enforcement decisions made by Appcano LLC are final.

14. Game Data & Account Actions

All game data and account-related information are controlled by Appcano LLC and may be modified as necessary to maintain fairness, integrity, and proper operation of the Game.

14.1 Ownership of Game Data

All in-game data, including but not limited to:

• Characters, items, and Virtual Content;
• Coins and other virtual currency;
• Rankings, statistics, and progression;
• Leaderboard positions and gameplay records;

are owned by Appcano LLC and are provided to you as part of a limited license under the Terms of Service and EULA.

14.2 Modification of Game Data

Appcano LLC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, adjust, or remove game data at any time, including:

• Resetting or adjusting rankings, statistics, or progression;
• Removing Coins, items, or rewards;
• Correcting errors or inconsistencies in game data;
• Rebalancing gameplay systems or progression mechanics.

14.3 Account Restrictions and Actions

We may take actions affecting your account, including:

• Restricting access to certain features or systems;
• Suspending or terminating your account;
• Limiting participation in matchmaking, leaderboards, or social features.

14.4 Removal of Illegitimate Data

Any data, rewards, or progression obtained through violations of these Rules or unintended gameplay behavior may be removed, reset, or adjusted without compensation.

14.5 No Entitlement to Game State

You acknowledge that you do not own any game data or progression and have no right to maintain any specific game state, including:

• Rankings or leaderboard positions;
• Progression levels or rewards;
• Coins, items, or Virtual Content.

14.6 Service Changes and Data Impact

Changes to the Game, including updates, patches, or system adjustments, may affect your account data, progression, or access to features. Appcano LLC is not responsible for any loss or changes resulting from such updates.

15. Investigations

Appcano LLC may investigate any suspected violation of these Rules, our Terms of Service, or our End User License Agreement (EULA) to protect the integrity of the Game and its users.

15.1 Monitoring and Detection

We may monitor gameplay and user activity to detect violations, including:

• Reviewing gameplay data, statistics, and behavioral patterns;
• Using automated systems to identify abnormal or suspicious activity;
• Monitoring reports submitted by users;
• Analyzing system logs and server data.

15.2 Use of Automated Systems

We may use automated tools, algorithms, or detection systems to identify potential violations, including cheating, exploitation, or abusive behavior.

You acknowledge that such systems may be used to support enforcement decisions.

15.3 Review and Evaluation

Suspected violations may be reviewed by Appcano LLC using available data and evidence. We may consider factors such as:

• Gameplay patterns and consistency;
• Reports from other users;
• Historical account activity;
• Severity and impact of the behavior.

15.4 Cooperation

You agree to cooperate with any investigation and provide accurate information if requested. Failure to cooperate or providing false information may result in enforcement action.

15.5 Confidentiality of Investigations

Details of investigations, detection methods, and enforcement processes are confidential. Appcano LLC is not required to disclose the specifics of how violations are detected or enforced.

15.6 No Guarantee of Immediate Action

Not all reported or detected issues will result in immediate action. Investigations may take time depending on the complexity of the situation.

16. Appeals

Appcano LLC may provide a process for users to appeal certain enforcement actions. However, submission of an appeal does not guarantee that a decision will be changed.

16.1 Appeal Requests

If you believe an enforcement action was applied in error, you may submit an appeal through designated support channels.

Appeals must:

• Be submitted by the account holder or authorized user;
• Provide accurate and complete information;
• Clearly explain the reason for the appeal.

16.2 Review Process

Appeals will be reviewed by Appcano LLC using available data and evidence, which may include:

• Gameplay data and system logs;
• Account history and prior violations;
• Results from automated detection systems;
• Reports from other users.

16.3 Decision Outcomes

Following review, Appcano LLC may, at its sole discretion:

• Uphold the original enforcement action;
• Modify the enforcement action;
• Reverse the enforcement action.

16.4 Limitations

Appcano LLC is not obligated to respond to all appeals or provide detailed explanations for enforcement decisions.

Repeated, abusive, or fraudulent appeal requests may result in additional enforcement actions.

16.5 Final Determination

Except where required by applicable law, decisions made by Appcano LLC regarding appeals are final.

17. Reporting Violations

Users are encouraged to report suspected violations of these Rules to help maintain a fair and safe environment.

17.1 Reporting Methods

You may report violations through available in-game systems or designated support channels provided by Appcano LLC.

Reports may include:

• Suspected cheating or use of unauthorized programs;
• Exploitation of bugs or gameplay systems;
• Harassment, abuse, or inappropriate conduct;
• Any other behavior that violates these Rules.

17.2 Accuracy of Reports

You must ensure that reports are made in good faith and based on reasonable belief. You may not:

• Submit false, misleading, or fabricated reports;
• Abuse the reporting system to target or harass other users;
• Repeatedly submit duplicate or spam reports.

17.3 Review of Reports

All reports may be reviewed by Appcano LLC using available data and evidence, including gameplay logs, system data, and prior account activity.

Submission of a report does not guarantee that enforcement action will be taken.

17.4 Confidentiality

We may keep the details of reports, investigations, and enforcement actions confidential. We are not required to disclose the outcome of a report to the reporting user.

17.5 Misuse of Reporting Systems

Abuse of reporting systems may result in enforcement actions, including restrictions, suspensions, or other penalties.

18. Contact
